Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is not taking any chances in goal for the second leg of the Champions League semifinal against Bayern Munich on Wednesday, keeping Andriy Lunin as the goalkeeper despite Thibaut Courtois’ return from injury last weekend.

Courtois has been sidelined despite his recent standout performance against Cadiz in the La Liga last weekend. Meanwhile, Ancelotti has reiterated that the confirmation of their La Liga title would not disrupt their preparations for the upcoming clash.
“Lunin will play if I don’t change my mind tonight. Yes, Lunin will play. Thibaut has played because he was very good, but he has to reach his best level,” Ancelotti stated.
Reflecting on Real Madrid’s continued success, Ancelotti attributed it to the squad’s ability to manage transitions and maintain consistency.
