After their 1-0 defeat in the first leg in Dortmund, PSG finds themselves facing a challenging task to progress. Nonetheless, Enrique remains focused on winning the second leg without becoming fixated on the necessity of scoring multiple goals.
“The goal isn’t to win by two goals, but simply to win,” Enrique revealed, underlining the significance of concentrating on the immediate objective rather than setting ambitious targets.

Enrique emphasized the importance of his team maintaining a balanced approach, giving equal attention to both attack and defense. He warned against becoming overly obsessed with scoring goals quickly, acknowledging the potential risks of neglecting defensive responsibilities.
“We must maintain 100% focus on both attack and defense,” Enrique emphasized, recognizing the unpredictable nature of football. “If we concede a goal, it’s not a disaster; we need to remain calm.”
Given PSG’s primary objective of clinching their inaugural Champions League title, Enrique understands the obstacles that lie ahead but maintains a positive outlook regarding his team’s prospects.
“It will be an even game with a high level of play on and off the ball, so it will be tough for both teams,” he stated.
