Samklef Recalls Almost Asking Simi for a Romantic Relationship, Says She’s Ungrateful

Music producer Samklef recently stirred controversy by revealing his past consideration of a romantic relationship with Nigerian singer Simi, whom he described as ungrateful.

Speaking on the X platform, Samklef recalled a time when he almost pursued a relationship with Simi, shortly after her breakup with her ex-partner, Lekan, many years ago.

Despite their close working relationship and the assistance he provided, Samklef chose to maintain a professional boundary to avoid complicating their business dealings.

Expressing frustration, Samklef mentioned feeling mistreated by Simi’s family despite his unwavering support.

He lamented the ingratitude of those he had helped, including Simi, which has shaped his perspective on assisting others. Despite his feelings, he conveyed a message of forgiveness towards Simi’s family.

In his own words, Samklef expressed his fondness for Simi and recounted his decision to keep their relationship professional.

He also extended greetings to Simi’s husband, Adekunle Gold, emphasizing that life is not so serious. However, he also questioned the whereabouts of Simi’s overly protective brother.
