He’s now pointing fingers at President Akufo-Addo, accusing him of influencing the case against former Minister Cecilia Abena Dapaah.
Last year, when Dapaah resigned amid allegations of embezzlement, President Akufo-Addo praised her work, calling it “excellent and productive.”
Dapaah, in her resignation letter, promised to cooperate with investigations, expressing confidence in her integrity.

However, the Attorney-General’s office advised against investigating Dapaah for money laundering. They found gaps in the report submitted by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) and noted a lack of cooperation from the OSP.
On a TV show, Nana Ohene Ntow criticized the president for politicizing the matter, suggesting that his influence hindered a fair investigation.
This revelation raises concerns about political interference in legal proceedings and the need for impartiality in handling corruption cases.
It also underscores the importance of transparency and accountability in government actions to maintain public trust.
