Fast-emerging Nollywood talent, Chuks Joseph, recently shared his unexpected journey into acting. Despite his deep passion for films, acting wasn’t on his radar.

“There wasn’t a clear reason to become an actor. It just happened over time,” he revealed. Joseph’s love for movies gradually paved his path into the world of acting, despite never envisioning it as a childhood or teenage dream.
His career’s inception stemmed from a modelling competition where he clinched second place, earning a scholarship to a film school. Opting for the film school over fashion classes, Joseph discovered his calling in filmmaking.

“Seeing what filmmaking was like, I fell totally in love,” he expressed. The immersive experience of witnessing the behind-the-scenes of film production ignited his passion.

Joseph’s breakthrough came with notable roles in Linda Ikeji’s Dark October and the Netflix series The Origin Madam Koi Koi.
Reflecting on his journey, he likened it to falling in love with chocolate after witnessing the chocolate-making process in a factory.
For Joseph, the allure of filmmaking unfolded unexpectedly, much like an enchanting tale scripted by destiny.
