Manchester United appears to be leading the race to secure the services of Michael Olise from Crystal Palace, sources have disclosed to ESPN.

The 22-year-old winger is believed to possess a release clause in his contract, set to activate post-season. United, under the new leadership of minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, has pinpointed Olise as a pivotal target for their summer revamp.
Although the exact fee for Olise’s acquisition remains undisclosed, it is anticipated to surpass the £35 million clause in his previous contract, potentially ranging between £50 million and £60 million.
Despite the absence of Champions League football next season, United remains undeterred in their pursuit.

There have been talks suggesting a probable inclusion of Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the deal to bolster United’s transfer budget, albeit negotiations are still in the early stages.
Nonetheless, competition for Olise’s signature is expected from other Premier League contenders. Chelsea’s attempt to trigger Olise’s clause last summer was thwarted due to procedural issues, leading to Palace renegotiating an enhanced four-year contract with the player.
While Liverpool and Arsenal have shown interest, Chelsea has redirected their focus to Cole Palmer, following unsuccessful pursuits of other talents like Mohammed Kudus.
Despite the competition, United’s aggressive pursuit positions them as frontrunners in the race for Olise’s signature.
