During a gathering at the University of Cape Coast with regional executives, parliamentary caucus members, and the Central Regional Council of Elders, Professor Opoku-Agyemang emphasized the importance of respectful communication among party members to successfully gain the targeted twenty parliamentary seats.

She urged party members to leave past grievances behind and unite for the greater good of the party, as unity will be key to the NDC’s success in the upcoming general elections.

The Central Region Chairman, Professor Richard Asiedu, also expressed determination to win the region for the NDC, highlighting the significant impact such a victory would have for both presidential and parliamentary outcomes.

The forum also served as an opportunity to discuss strategies for winning the twenty constituencies and to raise funds for the party’s regional activities.

Generous contributions were made by attendees to support the region and constituencies in preparation for the upcoming voter registration exercise.

The event was well-attended by party executives, including the Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, Nana Brew Butler, Members of Parliament, Parliamentary Candidates, and numerous party activists and executives.
