Vice President Bawumia Begins Campaign Tour of Dome-Kwabenya Constituency

In an effort to gain support ahead of the 2024 elections, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, who is also the flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), went on a campaign tour of the Dome-Kwabenya constituency on April 30, 2024.

Accompanied by the NPP’s chosen candidate for parliament, Mike Oquaye Jnr, Bawumia visited various areas within the constituency, meeting with locals and discussing the party’s plans.

During their visit, Bawumia and Oquaye Jnr stopped by important spots like the Dome market and residential neighborhoods, where they received a warm welcome and support from the people.

Oquaye Jnr expressed his gratitude for the positive reception on his Facebook page, describing the day as exciting and highlighting the enthusiastic backing from the community.

He thanked the people of Dome-Kwabenya for their warm reception, stating that it motivated him to continue working towards progress and ensuring that the constituency thrives.

Oquaye Jnr emphasized the importance of Dome-Kwabenya in the collective effort to ‘break the 8,’ a reference to the party’s goal of winning a third consecutive term in office.
