Davido’s associate, Israel DMW, has responded to criticism from Nigerians accusing him of disrespecting Wizkid while defending his boss.

Israel had exchanged heated words with Wizkid during a spat between the two musicians on the social media platform X.
He questioned how he could have disrespected Wizkid, asking if he was expected to remain silent when Wizkid attacked his boss.
Israel emphasized his genuine affection for Wizkid, expressing his constant plea to Davido to reconcile with the “Essence” singer.

He clarified that Davido never instructed anyone to disrespect Wizkid.
In his statement, Israel defended his actions, pointing out that Wizkid instigated the conflict and they felt compelled to respond.
Despite warnings from others, Israel maintained his loyalty to Wizkid and sought reconciliation between him and Davido.
He concluded by affirming Davido’s integrity and distancing him from any directive to disrespect Wizkid, likening the situation to that of the blogger Linda Ikeji.
