Chiamaka Nnadozie, the goalkeeper for the Super Falcons of Nigeria, has made history by becoming the first African and Nigerian player to claim the title of the best goalkeeper in the French D1 Arkema, the women’s league.

At just 23 years old, Nnadozie has proven herself as one of the finest goalkeepers globally, showcasing her skills and bravery with remarkable saves, particularly during penalty shootouts, throughout the season for Paris FC.

Her outstanding performances saw her surpass tough competition from players like Christiane Endler of Olympic Lyon and Katarzyna Kiedrzynek of Paris SG, to clinch this prestigious individual honor.

Pierre Ferracci, the president of Paris FC, expressed his delight at Nnadozie’s achievement, emphasizing her exceptional performance not only in penalty situations but throughout the Champions League.
