The singer’s remarks come in response to an interaction with an online user, @whizzylad_ayo, who suggested that Ric Hassani had lost relevance and sought exposure in the Afrobeat industry.
Expressing dismay, the talented singer questions the influence teaching young individuals that rudeness is the most effective means to gain attention on social media.
Hassani emphasizes the importance of fundamental values like decency, maturity, kindness, and respect, which he believes are diminishing in significance with each passing day.

He wrote: “I don’t know who lies to these poor kids that to “get someone’s attention” you can be disrespectful, negative, uncouth. These are lies of the devil. Kindness, Politeness, Respect, Maturity and just plain old “Courtesy” is of more value but it’s becoming more unpopular by the day. I don’t know again honestly. I will maintain my values, hopefully I keep finding and attracting people of similar values so that WE now become the popular ones, and all these other guys become the “un-cool” ones.”
