Malaysian actress Nora Danish confirms marriage on the rocks

Actress and singer Nora Danish acknowledged that her marriage with Nedim Nazri Aziz is facing challenges.

“Divorce is the last resort because we have to think about the children. However, I don’t deny that there is indeed some turbulence,” she said at a Hari Raya event organized by 4Ward Entertainment Sdn Bhd on April 29, 2024.

Speculations about their relationship surfaced after Hari Raya Aidilfitri as the couple refrained from sharing family photos.

The 42-year-old revealed that they have been living separately for some time due to ongoing renovations at their home.

“Regarding living apart, that’s true because our home is in the process of being renovated. I live with my mother and Nedim stays at his father’s house.

“This gives us space to think about things and improve the situation,” she explained.

Nora clarified that the current strain in their marriage did not stem from a third party but rather from differences in opinions.

“Even though we live apart, we still keep in touch every day. I still respect him as a husband.

“I don’t want what is happening to give a negative impression to the children. They are okay but they are more stressed by the condition of our house which has not been completely renovated,” she stated.

She emphasized leaving their household affairs to fate, expressing hope for divine intervention.

“That’s the rule, maybe Allah will give us space to solve this problem. We can only pray for the best and leave the matter to Him,” she said.

Nora and Nedim exchanged vows on March 30, 2017, and are parents to a son, Mohamed Neqayl, aged 6.

Before her marriage to Nedim, Nora was wedded to Datuk Rizal Ashram or Jejai on June 20, 2006, but they parted ways on July 10, 2008.

The former couple shares a son, Putra Rayqal, aged 15.
