The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has been praised for his integrity, discipline, focus, ideas, and solutions compared to his main opponent, Former President John Dramani Mahama, during his time as Vice President and President.

This statement was made in a press release signed by Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Director of Communications for the Bawumia for President 2024 Campaign.
The press release announced that Dr. Bawumia will kick off his campaign on Monday, April 29, in preparation for the 2024 general elections.

During his campaign, Bawumia plans to engage with various stakeholders such as traditional leaders, the clergy, youth, traders, drivers, farmers, students, and visit businesses like marketplaces to interact with traders and consumers.
The statement emphasized the importance of electing a leader with high standards, character, performance, work ethic, vision, programs, wisdom, decisiveness, self-discipline, integrity, and credibility. According to the NPP, Dr. Bawumia possesses all these qualities.
