Nubia Adjei & Harry Stacey Chosen to Represent Ghana at 16th Africa Aquatics Swimming and Open Water Championships in Angola

Nubia Adjei and Harry Stacey are set to demonstrate their talents at the forthcoming 16th Africa Aquatics Swimming and Open Water Championships in Luanda, Angola, having been chosen to represent Team Ghana.

Scheduled from April 30th to May 5th, the competition will see the duo striving to surpass their personal records and vie for honors.

Nubia Adjei, who holds the national record in the 100m Women’s Backstroke and has previously participated in the 13th African Games, will compete in her specialty event alongside the 50m Backstroke and 50m Freestyle.

Meanwhile, up-and-coming talent Harry Stacey aims to make a lasting impression in the 50m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle, and 50m Butterfly events, following his impressive performances at the concluded 13th African Games.

In the previous edition in Tunisia, Ghana secured a gold medal thanks to the remarkable performance by Abeku Jackson. However, the 24-year-old won’t be participating in the upcoming championship as he focuses on qualifying for the Olympic Games in Paris.
