Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has finally opened up about the loss of his friend and colleague, Junior Pope, following criticism from fans.

Michael faced backlash after posting casually on social media while others mourned Pope’s passing.
Fellow actor Angela Okorie criticized Michael, suggesting his competitive nature in the industry hindered genuine relationships.
However, Michael recently shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, accompanied by a photo of Pope, expressing his struggle to bid farewell.

He wrote, “It’s difficult to say r I p Nwanne,” acknowledging the pain of losing his friend.
Pope tragically passed away while en route to a movie shoot when his boat capsized in the River Niger in Asaba, Delta state. Alongside three crew members, Pope lost his life in the accident.
The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) confirmed his death, stating efforts to revive him were unsuccessful. At 39 years old, Pope’s untimely demise has left the industry and fans mourning the loss of a talented actor.
