Wizkid’s Stylist, Karen Binns, Names Him As an “OG”

Karen Binns, the creative director and stylist for Afrobeat star Wizkid, has described him as one of the “hardcore men” in her life. During a recent interview, the American stylist from New York expressed her views on self-worth and her experiences with various artists.

Binns asserted that people without a sense of self-worth are “utterly useless.” She recalled meeting the late American artist, Jean Michel Basquiat, and how she slapped his face on their first encounter, but they later became amazing friends.

The celebrity stylist claimed that Basquiat, renowned designer Andre Walker, and Wizkid share similarities. She considers these three men in her life to be “hardcore.”

Binns acknowledged that she argues and fights with them, but whatever they do is “200% real.”
