Reno Omokri and VeryDarkMan are both influential figures in Nigeria, known for their activism and social media presence. In a recent live interview, Reno Omokri, known for his controversial views, deliberately avoided discussing Verydarkman, an activist who had previously criticized him.

Verydarkman had accused Reno of trying to dismiss and ignore allegations involving Reno’s brother, Isaac Omokri. Isaac Omokri, who is a pastor, was accused of sexually assaulting a minor. The incident allegedly took place in 2023.
VeryDarkMan claimed that he was informed about the incident through a distress call from a friend. The mother of the girl reportedly took the matter to court this year, after keeping it hidden from the father for some time

When questioned by journalist Seun Okinbaloye about his thoughts on Verydarkman’s remarks, Reno expressed that responding to Verydarkman would only disappoint him.
He emphasized that he would rather punish himself than stoop to address Verydarkman’s comments. Throughout the interview, Reno referred to Verydarkman simply as ‘a fellow’ and chose to focus on different topics instead.
