The charges against them include conspiracy to commit a crime, publication of false news, assaulting Sampson Nii Annan Oku, an artist, as well as additional charges against Ugochukwu for causing unlawful harm and stealing.

During their appearance in court, both siblings pleaded not guilty before the presiding judge, Naomi A. A. Kuntour. They have been remanded into police custody until May 2, 2024.

The prosecution, led by Assistant Superintendent of Police Thomas Sarfo and Chief Inspector Bernice Wei Kpuusuu, has been ordered by the court to file their disclosures and serve them on the accused persons.

According to the prosecution’s account, the incident occurred on April 14, 2024, at about 8:30 pm, in Kasoa Overhead.

The accused persons, along with the complainant and his brother, were walking in the area when Ugochukwu claimed that his manhood had disappeared after the complainant accidentally touched him.

Allegedly, Favour and Ugochukwu then assaulted the complainant, demanding that he restore Ugochukwu’s penis. The altercation resulted in the complainant losing his Techno Keypad valued at GH¢100.

Following the incident, the accused persons brought the complainant to the Kasoa CBD Police Station and reported the matter. However, upon examination by the police, Ugochukwu’s manhood was found to be intact.

The complainant was issued a medical form to seek treatment, and Ugochukwu underwent a medical examination, which described his manhood as “normal in size with no deformity.”

The case remains under investigation as the court awaits further developments.
