Togolese and Ghanaian Suspects Arrested for Alleged Plot to ‘Murder’ American Fiancée

Two individuals, identified as Wisdom Sete, a Togolese, and Yussif Afrim, a Ghanaian, have been apprehended by the Ghana Police Service in connection with the death of Naomi Jehubiyah, an American citizen.

According to a police statement dated April 21, 2024, the incident occurred at Nyinasen near Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana.

The statement revealed that the arrests were made on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Assin Prasso, with the suspects allegedly involved in the murder of Naomi Jehubiyah.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Sete, who was the deceased’s fiancé, collaborated with Afrim to carry out the alleged murder.

The body of the deceased has been transported to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for preservation and autopsy.

Additionally, two vehicles belonging to the deceased were retrieved from the suspects, who are currently in police custody assisting with further investigations.
