The Ghanaian team will walk away from the match as the happier side, having kept the hosts from scoring any goals.
Zamalek ignited their fans’ support in the initial phases of the match as they pursued a stellar beginning.
Nevertheless, the Still Believe team remained composed and weathered the early pressure, even though they had limited possession.

The Egyptian team dominated in terms of ball possession and chances created, yet they managed only two shots on target in the first half, all of which were blocked by Dreams’ goalkeeper Solomon Agbesi.
Zamalek’s control intensified in the second half of the match, launching 15 attempts at goal but only managing to get four on target.
On the contrary, Dreams could only muster three shots after halftime, with just one finding its mark on target.
Dreams, participating in the competition for the first time, will now aim to outperform the Egyptians when they host them at the Baba Yara Stadium in the upcoming return leg next week.
