Kwadwo Poku, an Energy Expert and member of the manifesto drafting committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has remarked that there has been a significant improvement in the power situation in the country.

He pointed out that while there have been considerable enhancements in the power supply, certain areas within the Greater Accra region are currently facing intermittent power outages as a result of localized issues.
“There are localized problems,” he reminded Ghanaians while speaking on the Key Points on TV3 on Saturday, April 20.

He added “the power situation has improved, two days ago there was a power trip in Tema, and when these things happen they create a few pockets of problems but it has improved massively.”
Previously, Mr. Kwadwo had given assurances that the power cuts being encountered by Ghanaians across various regions would be resolved before the end of April.
He emphasized that the authorities responsible for managing the power sector are aware of the underlying issues and are actively working to address them.
