The students, primarily comprised of first-year students, journeyed to destinations such as Kumasi, Sunyani, Koforidua, and Tamale. In total, five buses were provided for this initiative.

According to the MP, this is her way of demonstrating concern for the students.

She notes that the gesture stems from observing the high level of support students typically require at the end of the semester.

Before the students embarked on their journey home, the MP took the time to bid them farewell and provided snacks for them to enjoy during the trip.

She also encouraged the students to utilize the period to rest and recharge for the upcoming semester.

Addressing journalists, Maa Lydia, as she is affectionately called by the students and constituents, dismissed claims that she engages in such activities to seek votes.
