National Paralympic Committee Scheduled To Conduct Elections On October 4

The National Paralympic Committee has scheduled their Elective Congress for October 4, 2024.

The members of the National Paralympic Committee endorsed this decision at an event called the “Extraordinary General Assembly,” which took place at the Airport West Hotel in Accra.

They also reached a consensus on setting the annual affiliation fee for membership at One Thousand Ghana Cedis, aiming to assist the board in fulfilling all its management responsibilities.

Other matters that were deliberated upon include the approval of Annual Membership Fees, the approval of new Para Sports and their respective Federations/Associations (Adaptive Boxing, Boccia Sports, Para Biathlon, Wheelchair Rugby, Para Archery, Wheelchair Softball), and Amendments to Article 2 Membership: Sections 1 to 5.

On July 6, 2019, during the NPC-Ghana General Assembly, Samson Deen was elected as the president, alongside seven other officers: Mr. Frederick Otu as Vice President, Mr. Peter Adjei as Secretary General, Mr. Evans Yeboah as Treasurer, and Mr. Twum Barimah, Ibrahim Saani, Philip Otuo, and Henry Larbi as members.
