Former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique believes Mohammed Kudus is the most fitting candidate to fill the void left by Mohamed Salah at Liverpool.

Salah has been an outstanding performer at Liverpool and one of the top players in England since joining the Reds from AS Roma in 2017.
The Egypt international has also secured every major trophy with Jurgen Klopp’s side, including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, and FA Cup.

At present, aged 31, Salah has been associated with a departure from Liverpool, with speculation suggesting Saudi Arabia as a possible destination in the upcoming summer.
Enrique, who was part of Liverpool’s squad from 2011 to 2016, suggests that if the Reds opt to part ways with Salah, then Kudus should step in as his replacement.
“Mohammed Kudus is someone that I think could be a replacement for Salah,” Enrique told Grosvenor Sport.
