Before his death, Kabobo had been undergoing medication and receiving treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).

Weeks before his passing, the ‘Nyatse Nyatse Girl’ hitmaker had disclosed that he had been unwell for several months, and the family’s financial resources to support his treatment were insufficient.

Several individuals, including former President John Mahama, Samira Bawumia, Wendy Shay, and the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO), all contributed to funding K.K. Kabobo’s medical expenses.

K.K. Kabobo is survived by 16 children from five different women.
