Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United has said sorry to Erik ten Hag for endorsing social media messages that were negative about his replacement during the match against Bournemouth.

The 19-year-old winger was taken off at halftime during the 2-2 draw on April 13.
He has since removed his likes from those posts, and manager Ten Hag mentioned that they are putting the incident behind them.

“Alejandro is a young player, he has to learn a lot,” said Ten Hag. “He apologised for it and after that we move on.”
United, who have gone winless in their last four Premier League matches, will be facing Coventry in an FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.
The social media posts about X criticized Ten Hag’s management of Garnacho, with one remarking that he “had a poor first half, but substituting him at half-time and blaming him as the issue is ridiculous”.
