He advised individuals not to evade summons from the EFCC, emphasizing that the commission conducts investigations and legal proceedings without resorting to violence or harm.
Highlighting the EFCC’s well-equipped facilities, including cell accommodations, bathroom amenities, and meal provisions, Cubana Chief Priest suggested that there is no need to avoid complying with their summonses.
In a thought-provoking statement, he characterized interactions with the EFCC as a “status symbol,” suggesting that being investigated or apprehended by the commission indicates a certain level of prominence or influence in society.
