Nano enterprises, as classified by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) as businesses employing one or two individuals with an annual revenue below N3 million, stand as the main recipients of this program.
The Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Doris Uzoka-Anite, announced this update on Wednesday, April 17, in Abuja.

Uzoka-Anite disclosed that the allocation process has already begun, with numerous recipients having obtained their grants. The staged allocation approach guarantees a methodical and orderly disbursement of funds.

Every recipient will be granted a non-refundable sum of N50,000 deposited directly into their accounts. The initiative is poised to influence one million small enterprises spread across the 774 local government areas and six council areas within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Following this, some Nigerians have confirmed that they have received an amount of N50,000 in their account from the President Tinubu Government FG Grant.
