Daniel Oriahi’s latest film, “The Weekend,” has been granted a prestigious spot at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City, happening from June 5 to 16.

He recalled his humble beginnings with his debut work, “Misfit,” crafted with minimal resources but abundant passion.

The genesis of “The Weekend” stemmed from a script presented to him by Uche Okocha, the executive director of Trino Studios, in 2022, aligning seamlessly with his creative vision.
