Bridget Otoo, a well-known Ghanaian journalist, has responded to the sentencing of Sedina Attionu, the former Chief Executive Officer of MASLOC, to a 10-year prison term for her involvement in causing financial detriment to the state.

In her view, the punishment given to the former CEO of MASLOC is a positive step that will aid the country in its fight against corruption.
She expressed her anticipation for the upcoming government to similarly take decisive action against state officials who engage in embezzlement, prioritizing the interests of the ordinary citizens over personal enrichment.

In a Twitter post, the media personality wrote “Dear next gov’t, I hope you learn from this example and Jail 50 to 100 government officials. Let Ghanaians know just how much this gov’t has stolen!..,”
