Ghana’s journey in the 2024 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) ended in disappointment as they were eliminated in the group stage after losing all three of their matches.

In their opening match, the team suffered a 5-2 defeat against Zambia, followed by an 8-3 loss to hosts Morocco in their second match of the tournament.
The consecutive defeats left Ghana in need of a significant victory in their final group match against Angola. However, they were unable to meet the expectations and secure the necessary results.

The Angolan team displayed superior clinicality, delivering a dominant performance and securing a comfortable 11-3 victory over Ghana.
As a result, Ghana exits the tournament without securing a single victory from three matches, while also conceding a concerning total of 24 goals.
However, Morocco claimed the top spot in the group, securing their position as winners. Angola followed closely, taking second place with six points, allowing both teams to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament.
