Okyeame Kwame Cautions Presidents About the Dangers of Fighting Corruption

Okyeame Kwame, of the Ghana top musicians, has cautioned Ghanaian presidents about the dangers associated with fighting corruption in the country.

Okyeame Kwame made it known that corruption and other issues facing Ghana can only be addressed when we begin to shape the mindset of the next generation, as the mindset of the current generation is rooted in corruption.

Okyeame Kwame added that the political landscape we find ourselves in currently is highly corrupt and it will be very difficult for this to end anytime soon due to the nature of the problem.

Okyeame Kwame said categorically that any Ghanaian president or leader who attempts to put in strict measures or reforms to curb corruption could even risk their lives in the course.

Stating further, Okyeame Kwame advised families to take up the role of training their children in a way that they would not think like our current politicians.

Okyeame Kwame stated: “NDC/NPP cannot help Ghana; family is what can help Ghana. The problem affecting us as a people is a problem of the mind. The corrupt system cannot fix itself; it makes a lot of people rich and happy. If a president wants to come and fight corruption in the country right now, he will be dead in 2 weeks. It’s not about pay; it’s not about money; it’s about morality.”
