Soundarya Jagadish, a prominent figure in the Kannada film industry, tragically passed away at the age of 55.

Officials suspect suicide as the cause of his untimely death, as he was found deceased in his Bengaluru residence.

Jagadish had reportedly attempted suicide by hanging, though the motive remains unclear.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, doctors were unable to save him. According to a friend, Jagadish did not suffer from any known health issues. However, the exact reason behind his drastic action is yet to be determined.

Addressing rumors linking Jagadish’s death to recent financial troubles, a spokesperson emphasized that such issues were unrelated to his passing.

Jagadish, who also operated a pub in Bengaluru, had faced controversy in the past due to events involving the local film community.

Throughout his career, Jagadish made significant contributions to the Kannada film scene as a producer, with notable works including ‘Snehitaru’, ‘Appu Pappu’, ‘Mast Maja Maadi’, and ‘Ramleela’.

His sudden demise has left the industry and his acquaintances mourning the loss of a talented individual.
