Renowned South African gospel singer Fikile Mlomo has been diagnosed with a spinal tumour, revealing the news on Facebook after experiencing a loss of mobility for the past two months.

The beloved singer, known for hits like “Izinyembezi,” now relies on a wheelchair and walker to move around.
In her announcement, Mlomo expressed her determination to keep singing despite the challenges she faces.

She also shared her need for surgery and requested support from her fans, as she is unsure when she will be able to return to work.

“Please keep me in your prayers,” Mlomo wrote. “I have to undergo surgery. I think I’m far from getting back to work because the operation will require me to rest. I have to undergo surgery in my spinal cord. They say I have a spinal tumour.”
Despite the difficult journey ahead, Mlomo remains resilient and optimistic, relying on the support of her fans and the power of prayer as she prepares for surgery.
