Former WWE star Tony Jones, known by his ring name “Shooter,” has passed away at the age of 53.

Jones, who wrestled in the WWE in 1998, 2001, 2003, and 2007, died on April 11, 2024. The cause of his death has not been disclosed.
All Pro Wrestling (APW) confirmed the news on April 14, 2024, with the organization’s CEO, Markus Mac, offering a personal tribute to Jones.
In a statement, APW expressed deep sadness at the loss of the former APW Universal Heavyweight Champion, affectionately known as “Shooter” Tony Jones. They bid farewell to him and extended their love, acknowledging his impact both inside and outside the ring.

Mac remembered Jones as not only a remarkable athlete but also a devoted father. He recalled their friendship, which grew into brotherhood, and offered his heartfelt condolences to Jones’ family, friends, and fans.
Jones had a daughter named Selina, who passed away in childhood. In January, 2024, Jones paid tribute to Selina on his Facebook page, expressing his enduring love and remembrance for her.
