Continuing his prolific streak, he shattered Bournemouth’s Premier League single-season goal-scoring record on Saturday. His strike against Manchester United marked his 17th goal in the Premier League campaign. This has placed him joint third on the scorers chart only behind Erling Haaland and Ollie Watkins.
After the game, the former Chelsea striker didn’t hesitate to make a case for himself when asked about his chances of making it into the England squad for the 2024 EUROS.
With Solanke’s scoring form already gaining recognition, the ex-Liverpool forward will have to compete with the many strikers in the Three Lions team.
