The former Chelsea defensive midfielder advises the club to concentrate on developing their current talent pool instead.
Osimhen, who has attracted attention as one of Europe’s top strikers, has been linked with a move to Chelsea as the club seeks to bolster their attacking options.
Indeed, Petit advocates that prioritizing investment in the development of current squad members should take precedence over pursuing new signings like Osimhen.

In an interview with Genting Casino, Petit said “I don’t think Chelsea need Gyokeres or Osimhen.
“With Chelsea, there are so many players who are not playing to their level and can do so much more,” he added.
So far, Osimhen has amassed 12 goals and provided three assists in 19 league appearances for Napoli this season.
Despite attracting attention from other top clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal, the African Best Player is reportedly eager to make a move to West London.
