Taking to Instagram, the billionaire expressed his appreciation to God for granting him another year of life as he turned 49.
In a photo shared to mark the occasion, Obi Cubana appeared resplendent in traditional ‘Isi Agu’ attire, complemented by a vibrant red cap.
In his message, he wrote: “I am grateful, O Lord, for ALL You have done for me! Thankful…! #drokpataozueora1 Made in Nigeria; on 12th April 1975!! #49 HBD to me.”

Obi Cubana, the chairman of the Cubana Group, has received numerous accolades throughout his career.
Among these are the Africa Canada Invest Summit Award in 2022, Democracy Entrepreneur of the Year at the Democracy Heroes Awards in 2018, and the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2016.
Additionally, he has been recognized with the Special Leadership Award from Rightville School in 2017, the Ghana-Nigeria Achievers Award in 2017, and the Northern Nigeria Peace Summit/Award in 2017 for his contributions to peace-building in the region.
