Tragedy struck during Ramadan festivities in Kasoa, Central Region, as a man in his late 20s lost his life and another suffered severe injuries in a motorbike accident.

The incident occurred when the riders were displaying their skills, leading to a collision with a car.
Superintendent Hannah Agyei, the Central East Regional MTTD Commander, disclosed that the pillion rider tragically passed away at the scene, while the rider sustained critical injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at Kasoa Polyclinic.

Expressing concern, Superintendent Agyei urged Muslim youth in Kasoa to conduct themselves responsibly to prevent such accidents from recurring. She emphasized that responsible behavior not only ensures safety but also contributes to nation-building efforts.
Police have initiated investigations into the accident, and the body of the deceased has been taken to the morgue. As the community mourns the loss, authorities are working to prevent further tragedies during the festive season.
