Amid the escalating situation, another civilian, visibly discontented, was also taken into custody after allegedly threatening to mobilize individuals to retaliate against the police officers.
As tensions mounted, additional drivers, perceiving their colleagues’ treatment as unjust, gathered at the police station in protest.
In response to the rising unrest, law enforcement authorities used pepper spray to disperse the agitated crowd, as reported by Adom News.
Following the incident, both the driver and the resident involved were taken into police custody for further investigation.
