Article Wan Teams Up with Buz Stop Boys to Cleanup Accra

Last Saturday, Hiplife artist Article Wan joined forces with the Buz Stop Boys, a group known for their sanitation efforts in Accra. The group, made up of ten young volunteers, has gained recognition on social media for their clean-up activities in various communities in Accra.

Over the past few months, these volunteers have cleaned numerous areas in Accra. On April 6, Article Wan decided to support their initiative. He praised the team and encouraged young people to take action for the changes they wish to see.

Article Wan expressed that the current system is ineffective and that relying on leaders alone won’t bring about change. He emphasized that if people take responsibility for cleaning their streets, it would lead to a healthier environment.

He felt a personal connection to this cause and believed that joining the Buz Stop Boys was a step towards making a difference. He expressed his respect for the young men dedicated to creating a cleaner environment in Ghana in a Facebook post.

During the clean-up exercise, the team identified the need for additional equipment to make the process more efficient. Article Wan worked alongside the boys to clear sand-filled gutters at the Dzorwulu Footbridge before moving on to Abbosey Okai.

Article Wan is passionate about waste management and sanitation education, and he believes these are crucial for the country’s development. As a result, he plans to launch his own waste management and sanitation awareness program in Ghana.
