Tragic Incident: 4-Year-Old Girl Electrocuted in Nsuaem No. 1

A tragic incident has occurred in Nsuaem No. 1, a farming community situated in the Bosome Freho District of the Ashanti Region, resulting in the death of a 4-year-old girl due to electrocution.

According to reports from the victim’s grandmother, the young girl was electrocuted after coming into contact with an aluminum electrical cable within the house premises. The exact circumstances leading to the incident are currently under investigation.

Upon receiving the distressing news, police investigators swiftly visited the scene of the incident. Upon arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of the young girl lying in a supine position approximately 5 meters away from the suspected electrical cable.

Although there were no visible signs of external violence on the body, authorities decided to transport the deceased to the Achiase Government Hospital for preservation and further examination through an autopsy procedure.

This tragic incident serves as a solemn reminder of the importance of electrical safety measures within households, especially in rural communities where such hazards may pose a significant risk to residents, particularly young children.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the electrocution, with the aim of preventing similar incidents in the future.
