Partey has battled injuries in the 2023/24 season limiting him to just eight Premier League appearances.
The midfielder made his first start since August 2023 in midweek as the Gunners hosted Luton Town at the Emirates, playing 67 minutes in the game.

Speaking after the game with Football.london, Partey expressed his enthusiasm about being at the club despite speculation regarding his future.

“This is where I choose to play, I’m really happy every time I’m on the field. I know a lot of speculations have been going on, but for me, I’m really happy to be here and to continue playing for this club,” Partey said.
With only 12 months left on his contract by the end of the season, uncertainties surround his tenure at the London club. However, Partey remains hopeful about prolonging his stay, emphasizing the significance of his availability until the season’s conclusion.
