Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, is set to excite audiences in a whole new light with her inaugural venture into the world of cinema. After much anticipation and speculation, the multi-talented artist has finally unveiled the release date for her debut movie, titled “Water And Garri.”

Taking to her social media platforms on Thursday, April 4, 2024, Tiwa Savage told her fans that “Water And Garri” is scheduled to make its much-awaited premiere on May 10, 2024. The movie will be exclusively available for streaming on the global platform powerhouse, Prime Video.

With a promotional flier featuring Tiwa Savage alongside esteemed Nollywood actors Jemima Osunde and Mike Afolayan, the announcement caused stirs on social media. In her post, Tiwa Savage expressed her gratitude to her supporters and eagerly anticipated the forthcoming release, stating, “My beautiful people, our movie @waterandgarrifilm has a date. See you May 10th @primevideo.”
In 2012, Tiwa Savage signed a recording contract with Mavin Records, starting a musical journey that would see her ascend to the upper echelons of the Nigerian music scene and beyond.
