Michael Essien Couldn’t Maintain Relationships with Women Because He’s Gay – Prophet Adu-Boahen Claims

Ghanaian preacher, Prophet Adu-Boahen, has made a controversial claim about retired footballer Michael Essien. He suggests that Essien’s short-lived relationships with women and his support for the LGBT community in Ghana indicate that he is gay.

Adu-Boahen, who leads the Christ Revival Baptist Church, made these claims on Angel FM. He believes that Essien’s strength during his time at Lyon and Chelsea raised suspicions about his sexuality. According to him, Essien’s relationships with women were merely a cover-up for his true orientation.

The preacher further alleges that Essien’s support for the LGBT community is a strategy to maintain his relevance post-retirement. He even challenges the paternity of Essien’s children, if any, suggesting a DNA test for confirmation.

Adu-Boahen concludes by expressing relief that Essien was not given a coaching job in Ghana, fearing he would have negatively influenced young players.
