Beverly was doing well academically until she started gaining attention and facing criticism for her TV appearances. She shared that her education at Babcock University was going smoothly until she started appearing on TV as a video vixen at the age of 16.

This was a concept that Nigerians didn’t understand at the time, leading to criticism and her pictures being brought to school. This resulted in her getting into trouble at school every weekend.

Beverly then explained why she decided to leave the university. She felt it was better to leave before things got worse due to the strict nature of Babcock University. She was comfortable with her career and believed she could balance it, so she decided to leave.

When asked about her parents’ reaction to her decision, Beverly mentioned that her mother was initially upset but eventually accepted her decision. Her mother was surprised that she left, especially considering the money she had paid for her education.

They had some disagreements, but her mother eventually realized that Beverly was determined and would do what she wanted. Beverly persevered because she knew modeling was her calling.
