Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon has shared a personal insight into his family life, disclosing his taste for a daughter when his wife was pregnant with their third child.

In a recent interview with Teju Babyface on the latest episode of the King of Talks podcast, Deyemi said he was looking forward to having a little princess in his life, then again, he remembered the responsibilities that come with raising girls.
He said “when we found out that we were having a baby, I wished it was a girl but I realised that ‘man, she’s just going to steal my heart and my time and I won’t be able to take my eyes away from her.’ When we found out it was a boy we were like ‘Okay, God knows what he wants but never say never”

Teju Babyface also asked about his experience of raising three children. Deyemi mentioned that with sufficient resources and financial stability, the number of children should not be a concern. He highlighted the joy and fulfilment of nurturing children, stressing the importance of love, guidance, and mutual affection within the family dynamic.
