Drawing on his own experience, the vocalist underscored that in reality, his style of music doesn’t fall under the category of gospel music; thus, it’s deemed secular.

In his words, “I am a secular musician. I sing for the devil. We [secular musicians] sing for the devil, we praise the devil. We don’t glorify God. Abi all this one wey we dey do, you think say na God we dey do am for?”
