David Adedeji Adeleke, better known as Davido, the Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer and songwriter known for his artistic prowess, has made a significant contribution to the International University of East Africa (IUEA) in Kampala, Uganda.

In a grand ceremony at the university, he inaugurated a new course titled the “Faculty of Music and Arts”. This exciting development aims to nurture and empower aspiring musicians, artists, and creatives in Uganda and beyond.
As part of this momentous occasion, Davido was also honored with a special award. A newly constructed hall on the university campus has been dedicated to him, aptly named “Davido Hall”.
