Both individuals were found with multiple deep cuts and fractures, and their bodies have been transferred to the hospital mortuary for preservation and autopsy.

The investigation team also visited the mining site at Kotopreso, where it was revealed that the steel cable, which was pulling a loco box loaded with quartz suspected to contain gold-bearing materials, broke approximately 31 meters from the engine.

Subsequently, the box returned to about 177 meters deep, fatally injuring the two miners.

Meanwhile, the three other miners sustained minor injuries and were promptly transported to the AGA Hospital for medical treatment. They are currently under observation and are responding well to treatment.
